Somewhere, Dr. Phil is smiling. CBS has renewed its Bull TV show for a third season. Although the ratings fell some in the sophomore season, the series remains a top performers for the Tiffany Network, so the renewal was expected.
A CBS legal drama, Bull stars Michael Weatherly, Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, Christopher Jackson, Dena Tyler, Jill Flint, and Eliza Dushku. The series centers on the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Weatherly) — a character inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw. In heading the team at his Trial Analysis Corporation, Bull combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick.
