I have been watching this soap since it started. The story line has progressed because of the writers. I still enjoy watching it, good actors, very realistic it just needs a writer like Dick Wolf
Please don’t take days off I watchey since I was a teenager. We have nothing to look forward to during the day time tv. Please !

I hope they keep days of our lives on air.. I’ve been watching this show since I was 6 years old with my mother now I’m 27 and watch this with my children.. It is truly a great TV show, I can only hope my kids will get to share this show with their kids one day
i would like to know why isnt days of our lives on on demand when so many of the other soap operas are
The show just keeps repeating the same thing. It’s so stupid with Orpheus coming back again and again and again
I’ve been watching Days of our Lives since it started and I can barely watch it anymore. What happened to my show? It is so boring and all over the place! I Miss Beau and Sammy- they were the show! Need new writers!!!!

I’m sorry, but I must agree with the other posters. Like many others, I, too, watched “Days…” from its initial show. I became familiar with the characters, became invested in their stories, for the writing was well-crafted, and the performances were good. Today, in retirement, my husband, sister-in-law, and I engage in joking exchanges of “can you believe?” as the writing stretches credulity and the performances by a younger and younger set of newcomers to the performing arts lack conviction and engagement. seriously??? this show is better than it has been….people like you should keep your opinions to yourself….I have been watching for over 30 years and it is better than ever…It is people like you with negative opinions going to piss true fans off… This is a soap opera, there is drama It is not always going to go your way 🙂
I too have watched Days from day one.I really enjoyed it when Stephano, E.J, Tony, Jack Jennifer, Abigail(Kate Mansion) John, Marlena,Victor, Maggie, Steve, Kayla and Roman were in the show. I do not watch too much anymore because the characters are getting ridiculous and some of them are phony such as Demo is, Theresa, Kate, Belle, Dario , Paul, Chloe, Phillip, all need to go. They are all whinners and all phony. Check the ratings and when original cast members were in show I believe the ratings we’re higher. Now its just a bunch of garbage. I’m sure many of the original cast retired, or have passed away…for real. Stephanopoulos being one of them. How many people continue to work at the same job for 50 yrs. They have to bring in a new generation at some point. As the originals get older.
The fact that you are corrupting all your characters, some beyond redemption, including your teenager, leads me to believe you are cancelling your show soon. I am 75 and have watched the soap from day one. What a shame. I have threatened to stop watching because I hated such a horrible character as Stephano. come on phyllis we need stefano characters….I have been watching since the early 80’s …I am a few years younger than you,,,42 but …it is intriguing 🙂 is it not???…Theo will be like Abe I am proud of our writers….they are doing good in a bad economy…Please remember they are thinking of cancelling our show…do you really want to watch a bunch of reality shows of real stupid people??? come on…please think before you post negative stuff on dool…..
