Some good news and bad news for Good Witch. Deadline reports Hallmark has renewed the TV show for a sixth season but star Bailee Madison will not be returning.
The series centers on Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale (Catherine Bell) and her teen daughter, Grace (Bailee Madison). The two share a special intuition and are enchanting in more ways than one. The cast also includes James Denton, Catherine Disher, Anthony Lemke, Peter MacNeill, and Kylee Evans.
It’s not surprising Hallmark Channel has renewed Good Witch for a sixth season. The series, which is currently in its fifth season, remains one of the network’s highest-rated series. So far, season five is averaging a .22 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.184 million viewers.

I like the show. I like Bailee and might watch without her . I do hope that a cameo is done a couple of times during the season and definitely at the end of the series, it would only be right since she was such a big part of the show.

I love Good Witch show, and have not ever missed a show. Even though Bailee Madison will not be on the show then one can only assume life for her has taken a new road and we were blessed to watch her grow up on this show. Wish you all the best, Bailee. Good Witch show will not miss a beat because the writers do a fabulous job and keep us captivated every breathless moment of each show. I hope this show is on for many years to come. Love the show, so few shows are positive in nature now a days. And this one is just positive talking typical issues with a sprinkle of magic on top of it. I enjoy the show and hope that it is around for a long time….
Yes I will always watch The Good Witch! It is a wholesome family show with more to offer than most shows. I am sure without Bailee it will be different, but it will still be my favourite show! Good luck in your future Bailee! We will miss you.
Will definitely watch Season 6 and even though Bailee Madison won’t Be returning, it will still be good. I have watched it from the very beginning and it keeps getting better. I wish Bailee well in her future endeavours and hope she returns for a guest appearance.
Just searched if Good Witch is coming back for Season 6. So very happy my favorite show will return, and mixed feelings about Bailee’s departure. I’m sad we won’t see the special mother-daughter interaction that the show presented, but I’m happy as she looks forward to new and exciting possibilities in her future. So sorry to see Bailee go. She was just as intricate in the story as the rest of the cast. I hope she decides to do a cameo here and there so we know how her life is progressing away from Middleton. Good luck Bailee on your new ventures.

Yes I won’t miss Good Witch. It is such an amazing show. It makes me forget my disease. I have MS and watching Catherine Bell and the entire cast takes my mind off of my troubles. Love love the show!
