Timothy Hutton is headed to Netflix. Deadline reports the American Crime star has joined the streaming service’s upcoming TV show The Haunting of Hill House.

Based on the novel by Shirley Jackson, the horror drama follows the strange, paranormal experiences of the inhabitants and guests at the mysterious Hill House. The novel has been adapted for film twice, first in 1963 and in 1999, as The Haunting.

While Netflix has not revealed who Hutton is playing, Deadline speculates he has been cast as “the father of the Crane siblings.” He joins fellow cast members Carla Gugino, Michel Huisman, Elizabeth Reaser, Kate Siegel, and Henry Thomas. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
