What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Comedy Central cable channel, Idiotsitter stars Charlotte Newhouse, Jillian Bell, Stephen Root, Elizabeth De Razzo, and Jennifer Elise Cox. The story centers on Billie Brown (Newhouse). She’s a straight-laced, struggling Ivy League grad, who applies for a babysitting job to help her get by. The nanny ad was just a cover, though. Instead of the seven-year-old girl Billie expected to watch, she ends up with Gene Russell (Bell). Gene is an out of control party girl, who is under house arrest in her wealthy father’s mansion. She is in dire need of a guardian and tutor. Billie needs the cash, so she takes the job.

Comedy Central doesn’t have a lot of scripted series, and it seems the channel doesn’t plan on sticking with Idiotsitter. The show premiered to weak ratings and Comedy Central is airing all seven episodes across two Saturday nights. I think that Idiotsitter will be cancelled rather than renewed for season three. This show is so weak Comedy Central doesn’t have the energy to cancel it, they’ve just left it in TBD limbo…
I really love this show! I’m kinda wondering why there was only 7 eps for season 2 instead of finishing them to at least match up the 10 that season 1 had, but oh well that’s just my opinion! But yes bring this show back!!!
PLEASE!!!! Bring this show back!!! I totally love this comedy as it was freaking hilarious! I love the cast and it was one of the few comedies that I couldn’t wait for the next episode for. I am a total fan!!
