Some familiar faces are leaving Last Man Standing. TVLine reports Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison will not return for the TV show’s seventh season on FOX.
Ephraim and Morrison played Mandy and Boyd, respectively, on the family sitcom. As reported earlier, FOX has picked up the Tim Allen sitcom for a seventh season. The series originally ran on ABC for six season before being cancelled last year.
While Ephraim and Morrison’s roles will be recast, most of the original Last Man Standing cast will be returning for the new season on FOX. Those stars include Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Jonathan Adams, Christoph Sanders, Jordan Masterson, and Hector Elizondo. As of reporting, Kaitlyn Dever (Eve) is in negotiations to recur in season seven.

This network like many other networks these days networks really need to be on creative. Instead of just take a ready made shows that have been discarded by other networks. Then I have better things in life than sit down and watch junk like this and revivals like this or any revivals that I had a reason for it to be canceled.

Kaitlyn Dever is a fantastic actress. She played a troubled child in the film “Short Term 12” (on Netflix. I didn’t realize it was her until I saw the movie’s credits. She is very deserving of more money! PS Kaitlyn, remember who wrote this when you negotiate (jk).
Wouldn’t watch no matter who stays or goes.

I am heartbroken that she is not returning. Each person in the cast is perfect…. I am not sure who will be able to replace her.
I loved Many & Boyd. The one I wish they would recast is Jordan Masterson.
Like Goldie in Laugh-In, it can be tough to find someone who can play a likeable, simple person. Molly was great in the part and showed how teens can grow from mostly self centered to one coming of age. Still simple, but very mature at the same time. This we have seen in TV for as long as it has existed and as in the past, it may be hard to get use to.
I think Molly will regret this in the future when the series is on for another bunch of seasons. Flynn was kind of meh, kid was more recurring then main cast so as long as they cast right I think they could get an even better actor to take up Boyd’s role.
I am really going to miss Molly on the show. I was not a big fan of her at the start of the show but she has grown so much as an actress and really found her comic timing. Now she is just superb. That and the show writer got better at writing for her character which of course helps.
Really will miss her, but glad (overjoyed) to have the show back!
I’d like to have both Boyd and Mandy back, but moreso Molly Ephraim as Mandy. Dang, that hurts.
Please bring Mandy back to the show.

I love the show. I’m excited about the new season. I am disappointed that not all the cast members will be returning especially Molly Ephraim. She is a great actress.
