ABC isn’t finished with Norman Lear just yet. The network just announced they’ve ordered two more episodes of Live In Front of a Studio Audience.
The special, which debuted in May, featured live recreations of All in the Family and The Jeffersons with a celebrity cast that included Wanda Sykes, Anthony Anderson, Ike Barinholtz, Ellie Kemper, Jovan Adepo and Woody Harrelson.
A new Live In Front of a Studio Audience special will premiere in late 2019 and a third is slated to debut on ABC in spring 2020.

Then this winter, Kimmel will once again team up with television icon Norman Lear and executive producers Brent Miller, Will Ferrell and Justin Theroux to provide the next installment of the groundbreaking “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” with a live holiday special event. A third “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” special will air spring 2020.
ABC’s “Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s ‘All in the Family’ and “The Jeffersons'” premiered on Wednesday, May 22, with an average audience of 10.4 million viewers and earned a 1.8/9 in Adults 18-49 and reached 22.5 million Total Viewers for its original Wednesday airing and Saturday rebroadcast.
“Live in Front of a Studio Audience” will be produced by Kimmelot, ACT III Productions, Gary Sanchez Productions, D’Arconville and Sony Pictures Television. Norman Lear, Jimmy Kimmel, Brent Miller, Will Ferrell and Justin Theroux will executive produce.”

Yes I enjoyed the one in March… I love Norman Lear and the tv shows from my youth.
My husband and I loved the Norman Lear special! Please do more and also include some of his other great shows!
Hopefully he does another episode of the Jefferson and All in the family they were both great i enjoyed watching and keep doing it if this what people want to see

I loved “All in the family” and “the Jefferson’s”, and I tried to watch these new ones but they were a pale imitation of the originals, so “NO” I will not watch the new ones.
