What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez. Based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris, the supernatural drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where nothing is what it seems. There, only outsiders belong, while normality is just plain weird. It is the best haven for people who need to hide from the world at large. The townies come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off external pressures from nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts.
Season One Ratings

On February 14, 2018, Midnight, Texas was renewed for a second season, which debuts October 26, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Midnight, Texas was originally supposed to premiere in the mid-season, but in the end, the Peacock network held it for summer. What’s more — they only ordered ten episodes. While none of that adds up to anything definitive, it could indicate that they have less faith in the series. The ratings have not been very good so I suspect that the show will be cancelled. What do you think? Are you glad that Midnight, Texas has been renewed for a second season? How would you have felt if NBC had cancelled this TV series, instead?
I love this show!!! I have my DVR set to record every episode just in case I’m not able to watch at its normal time. This show came right on time for me since the show Grimm no longer on the air. Also, I can’t wait until Supernatural new season starts. These two shows are my favorite!!!
I love this show! Please don’t cancel it! Give it a chance.
OMG..I was hurt when they took LaLa away miss TRUE BLOOD so much. Then came MIDNIGHT. You filled it with everything I like “PLEASE DON’T DO IT TWICE” RENEW, RENEW, RENEW
This is a great series, don’t be stupid and cancel another great series NBC. And I agree with Mary, it is a great replacement for True Blood fans as I was. And by the way I am 67 years old.
Love the show. Great replacement for True Blood fans.
Hoping it’s renewed! It’s not even the type of show I typically enjoy..but I’ve gotten hooked!!
Love the show. Please don’t cancel!!
This show is so much fun to watch. My son and I look forward to watching the latest episode each week. Please renew the series for another season! Thank you..
I instantly fell in love with this show! I’ve got my fingers crossed it doesn’t get cancelled. Please NBC keep it
Please don’t cancel this show! I love it!
please don’t cancel this show …its not many shows put there that I like.
Don’t cancel Midnight Texas! I love this show. I look forward to Monday night. One of the few shows that I look forward to watching
Please do not cancel this show. Everyone in my household was hooked from the beginning. The characters are great, the stories well thought out. I do not think “Midnight, Texas” was given a fair shake, being put on as a summer replacement instead of mid-season as originally planned. Give it a second season, at a specified, non-changing time slot, and I bet the ratings go up.
I’M WITH FERN!
Please renew the show for season 2. I like so much this show and the characters. The actors and actress are amazing.
Please, renew it …I enjoy this show so much and I love the characters
