Lucy Lawless is on the case. Acorn TV just announced the premiere date for their new TV show, My Life is Murder.
The Australian drama series stars Lawless as “Alexa Crowe, an ex-homicide detective as she solves the city’s most baffling crimes.”
My Life is Murder debuts on Acorn TV on August 5th.

What a delightful change and a fresh breath of air, instead of modern crap dominating our current day and age, Lucy is terrific in here, I’d wish they renew the series very soon, it’s a keeper in my book. All the cheasyness from the ’80’s is also very well placed and the lead character has a lot of fun while solving some gruesome murders and baffling cases.
I’d recommend it to everyone of my friends and family.
Definitely renew this series. It’s clever, fun, very well written, great female characters who feel real. Lucy Lawless plays a woman not pretending to be anything other than a middle-aged woman, not overly glam and has great one liners, and is much better for it. And great to see her starring again.
