For the first time, CBS has scheduled NCIS: Los Angeles on Monday nights — without strong lead-in NCIS and opposite The Blacklist and Castle. The show’s ratings declined last season. Will they fall further or miraculously start to grow? Cancelled or renewed for a seventh season? Stay tuned.
Based in the City of Angels, NCIS: Los Angeles follows the members of an elite division of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), one that specializes in undercover assignments. This drama stars Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, Renée Felice Smith, and Miguel Ferrer.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/12 update: CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a seventh season.
Final season averages: 1.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.28 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The fifth season of NCIS: Los Angeles averaged a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 14.84 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the NCIS: Los Angeles TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a seventh season?
they gotta renew it.. its still a really good show considering it time slot
Renewed….LOVE this show and the chemistry between the characters
I totally agree all friends, NCIS LA is doing great, it must be renew another season . I love this show, the cast, story line, everything is awesome, back it to its real time and night.
NCIS LA really got a bad deal from CBS. This show stll averages almost 10 million viewers in the 10:00 pm death slot I can only imagine what they would get if they were in an 8:00 or 9:00 spot. They must have a problem with Shane Brennan to sand bag the show like this. This show is much more exciting to watch than either NCIS or NOLA but if you have to get up in the morning at 7:00 or before, do you really want to stay up til 11:00 pm to watch?
I think NCIS Los Angeles is better than NCIS New Orleans. Having said that, the station made a big mistake in moving it to 10 PM Monday night — and putting it against Blacklist. If they moved it back to a reasonable time slot on another night — and advertised that fact way ahead of time and announced it multiple times — CBS might see a different result. Right now, we watch NOTHING on Wednesday night (now that Redband is gone) and nothing on Thursday nights.
So, yes RENEW IT.
Renew it for another season
This show was placed to late, I could adjust to Monday but the time is a struggle. I’m not a fan of new Orleans after NCIS I surf. LA is awesome
I totally agree
This is my very favorite show- the cast is amazing. Monday was a huge mistake- this show MUST stay!!!
I love this show. Moving it to Mondays was a BIG mistake. Now it’s up against Castle.
We love NCIS LA and as other viewers have stated if it had to move it should have gone to an evening later in the week or better yet left where it was right after original NCIS. We do not like NCIS New Orleans.
Big mistake CBS moving NCIS to Monday! If you had to move the show to another night put it on a night where other networks are lacking, like Thursday, Friday or better yet Saturday where there is nothing to watch on any of the networks.
This is an amazing show, don’t cancel it. Every episode always leaves me wanting to see the next.
NCIS Los Angeles is my favorite show. Don’t care much for New Orleans. Please schedule LosAngeles at a prime time.
I love NCIS: LA. Why move it to Monday night? It always seemed to be high in the ratings on Tuesdays. At least it’s not on Sunday night – the true kiss of death for a show.
KEEP Ncisla. It’s the best of the three. It’s in a nasty time slot now next season it should be moved back to 9pm. Don’t like scorpion and can’t take scot bakulas accent on New Orleans. Please move it back. I need my Callen and Sam. Back to Tuesday please!!!
I agree with last post, I love NCIS L.A. don’t like scorpion or NCIS New Orleans.
