Do you watch Ransom? The CBS TV series wraps up its first season tonight, April 15th. Should the network renew the show for a second season? Would you watch another round of episodes?
The drama follows Eric Beaumont (Luke Roberts), an experienced crisis and hostage negotiator, and his team who are brought in to save lives when no one else can. The cast also includes Brandon Jay McLaren, Nazneen Contractor, and Sarah Greene.
Ransom‘s ratings have been low over the course of its freshman season. Currently, the Saturday show is averaging a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.52 million viewers, making it CBS’ lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
However, not all shows live or die by their ratings and this may be one of them. Ransom is an international production, which means the show costs less for CBS. If another season is produced by the production company, would the network purchase it? We’ll have to wait and see.

Yes, I would definitely watch season two. I like the solution of situations with arbitration rather than shootouts and violence. The team members all contribute with their knowledge of people, how they think and how they act. The persons portraying the team are believable and each week they get even better. The episodes have been great to watch.
I would definately continue to watch Ransom. It is a smart show, brains instead of guns and I watch episode. Please renew this show.
Yes, I would definitely watch season two. I watched every episode of season one and I would watch every episode of season two. The team works very well together and the best part is they do not use weapons they use their minds. You could really learn something by watching that show.
Ransom is just getting good. It has developed characters and characters that cam be expanded on. There is a lot there to work with plus left us on a cliff hanger…please bring it back for season 2.
Yes I would definitely watch Season 2, just like I watched Season 1. Its a good show. I love that the main character will not carry a gun. He listens and is honest.
Yes, I watch “Ransom” show every week. Most definitely the Network should renew the series for more seasons. I like the fact, this guy saves people without a weapon. Maybe more people could learn how to use their brains instead of just shooting or stabbing others. Please renew this show, it is needed.
