Back in January, Crackle renewed its StartUp TV show for a second season and announced production is underway in Puerto Rico. Today, the Sony-owned streaming platform revealed StartUp, season two, will premiere on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Edi Gathegi, and Otmara Marrero are returning for the second season of StartUp. Ron Perlman and Addison Timlin are joining the Crackle TV series cast in the upcoming installment. Creator and writer Ben Ketai directs. He also executive produces with Tom Forman, Andrew Marcus, Ray Ricord, Gianni Nunnari, Shannon Gaulding, and Anne Clements. Critical Content and Hollywood Gang Productions produce.

StartUp‘s second season will debut on September 28. Currently in production in Puerto Rico, the series explores what happens when a brilliant, yet controversial tech idea gets incubated on the wrong side of the tracks by three strangers who don’t necessarily fit the mold of “tech entrepreneurs.”
Crackle unveiled a first-look clip featuring new cast addition Ron Perlman who portrays Wes Chandler, a multi-millionaire businessman with a level-headed grit. He also will serve as a producer on the series, which has added Addison Timlin (Californication) who will play Perlman’s daughter Mara.

This show is amazing, I didn’t know Crackle had it’s own shows? I was instantly hooked. The characters are so real, no TV make believe here. I’m absolutely anticipating season 2…. come on September. Checking out what other shows Crackle has to offer. I binged watch Startup in 3 days.
Ronald’s character is set on with all the Haitian vibe coming to life , the Russians add the foreign intrigue, Izzy ‘s family was crazy like with Mob money connects; Nick and family are out of their leagues playing with house money. This season can only mean Gencoin takes off and Trump gets to be President and the economy tanks; My bad it’s all ready happening, peace out.
Yes. I can’t wait for season 2. Why such a long ways away? I know absence makes the heart grow founder, but September is a long, long ways away. They are lucky it’s worth the wait! Lol, 😀
I have checked almost everyday for the season two of this series, until now that I know it will premier in September. Can’t wait!! I will definitely stream when it premier.
This show is incredible. I love that it combines so many different ethicities’ POV’s. Plus, as a techie, the plot is really fun. I’d probably still love it no matter what they were starting up tbh. The acting is great and I love that it’s set in Miami. Some comic relief starts to happen around epi 6, and the last 4 are probably my fav. Sucks that I doubt anyone that hasn’t seen the show will see these reviews and give it a go.
Helped create six startups and this show caught my attention immediately and did not disappoint. True orginal with grit.

YEAH!!! I would’ve been so disappointed if they didn’t renew – and to find out the new (actors) additions… awesome. It is always good to know when an excellent show (5 for 5 stars) is still getting better.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen. It has every element you want. You get involved with each character on all levels. Hooked from the start. Well done.
Came across this series by accident and got hooked immediately. Watched the first 4 episodes back to back and sad it’s over. Waiting until Sept is going to be agonizing long!! So happy the second season is underway!!
