In its first season, the Teachers TV show drew some very low ratings for TV Land but the comedy was renewed for a second season anyway. Will the numbers improve this time around or, will they drop lower? Will Teachers be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
A single-camera comedy, the Teachers TV show is based on a web series of the same name from The Katydids improv group. The series revolves around six elementary school teachers who are trying to mold young minds — but their own lives aren’t really together. It stars Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O’Brien, and Kathryn Thomas.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparison: The first season of Teachers on TV Land averaged a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 409,000 viewers (live + same day ratings).
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.

I adore this show. These women are hysterical. I really get a kick out of Chelsea and Mary Louise. Please let it be renewed so I have something funny to watch.
Teachers is HILARIOUS. I’ve no clue why the ratings are so low…. This is one of the best comedies I’ve seen in a long time, keep ’em coming!
Renew super funny Tuesday just aren’t the same since the season wrapped. Can’t wait until the fall for more episodes.

Under 40? I’m 56 and think it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever watched on tv.
Renew it but go back to the same content without the musical.
They announced toward the end of the finale, “A new season this fall.” !!!!! So happy!!!!
Absolutely the worst. Terrible acting. Terrible writing. Extremely distasteful. The lowest. This is what is wrong with America. Why are people watching this crap?

Amen, Tracy. The humor is either banal, vulgarity without any lightness, and full of non sequiturs. Just watched the episode whether the tall one crashed the blonde’s dates twice. The blondie allows it which would never happen in real life. What makes REAL humor funny is that there’s SOME relationship to real life and this show has none.

Love this show! I am not a teacher but I work in the human services field and so much of this comedy resonates with me. It’s one of the bright moments of the week as it never
fails to let me put down whatever tension I’m carrying and laugh out loud. Please please renew it!
I think it should be cancelled! It’s crude, fowl language, not anything real. You just can’t do anything or fix “Stupid”

Love this show. Of course it is a caricature of teaching, teachers, parents, administrators, school children. That is what comedies do, they exaggerate for effect. I am a teacher. Those offended by the caricature of our profession should get a sense of humor.

Every teacher I know( and as a retired teacher I know many who are still teaching) is insulted by this show. There is much funny that happens in teaching, but it doesn’t make teachers look as stupid, of such low character, and out of control as this show. No one I know could stand more than 2 episodes.
Love this show, as does my retired teacher mother. Every episode she sees another of her former coworkers and laughs. In a time when reality is stressful, this show is a great break. Besides, it lets you have a view of teachers as real people.
