Season seven of Once Upon a Time will be missing more than just Jennifer Morrison. Deadline reports several more core cast members are leaving the ABC TV show, including Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, and Jared S. Gilmore.
Recently, ABC announced they’ve renewed Once Upon a Time for a seventh season only a few days after star Jennifer Morrison revealed she will not be returning (though, she is contracted for one more episode.) The news isn’t a huge surprise. For a few months now, there have been hints that season seven will reboot the fantasy drama, introducing new characters and new storylines.
Now, it’s been confirmed that Morrison isn’t the only lead cast member exiting Once Upon a Time. In addition to Goodwin, Dallas, de Ravin, and Gilmore, Rebecca Mader is not returning for season seven either.
Instead, the new season will focus on the remaining cast—Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle and Colin O’Donoghue—and new addition Andrew J. West, who will first appear in the season six finale.
