Cable channels have certainly come a long way from the time when their schedules were filled with only sitcom repeats and old movies. The USA Network has just announced a dozen new series and one limited series that are currently in development. That’s more new shows than some networks have in a regular season and in addition to their ongoing series.
Here are the details, via press release, about what the folks at USA are working on:

What do you think? Are you interested in any of these new TV shows? What are your favorite USA series?
Stumbled on this not realizing it was a month away from being 4 years old. Unless I missed something none of these ‘new’ shows has aired an episode. I had no idea development could last this long. 😉
Hard Cover sounds like the only watchable series. Cast a good actor/actress and you’ll have a good companion for Covert Affairs.
Do we really need more police procedurals? How about more original series like The 4400?
Now there’s a good idea. 🙂
To be clear, that wasn’t sarcasm. I agree with Stephen wholeheartedly!
None of these sounded particularly impressive but its amazing what a perfect cast can do for a show.
Great 12 new shows for you Yanks to cancel!!
USA shows for me are either Love ‘Em (Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, L&O:CI when Jeff Goldblum was on it) or Leave ‘Em (White Collar, Fairly Legal, that doctor show–oh, right, Royal Pains, In Plain Sight — you get the idea), so these shows are going to have to work hard to fall into the former category for me. At this point, I’m just not seein’ it. But hey, more choices can’t be a bad thing. 12 new series is a shocking number, in any case.
Kat, you said the magic words! Leave em ( White Collar). uhhhh. such a nasty little troll. I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love LOCI too! But I am a Goren fan!!!!!!!!!!
These all seem just awful, hate to say it.
M. Deity looks good:) but my favorite out of the list is We The Jury!! if Winslow isn’t too cheesy it might b good too!
