The original version, hosted by Dick Clark, began on CBS in 1973 and then moved to ABC. Various other versions have aired since then, including a short-lived attempt on GSN in 2012. This will be the first time that $100,000 Pyramid has aired on a network in primetime. Live! With Kelly and Michael’s Michael Strahan will host the 10 new episodes.

I have always been a game show junkie!! My all time favorite is by far $100,000 Pyramid. I loved Dick Clark and I am a big fan of Michael Strahan. How can I audition for the show? I will definitely be watching Celebrity Fun and Games Night.

Pyramid was always one of my favorite game shows. Although no one will replace Dick Clark I wish Strahan well in living up to his standard. The most important thing will be if they get good celebrities. Intelligence alone is not enough, you have to be sharp and able to think well under pressure. I will be watching and hope it will be a good remake.
