HISTORY’S “ALONE” RETURNS WITH A TWIST FOR SEASON 4 ON THURSDAY, JUNE 15 AT 10PM ET/PT
HISTORY®’S HIT SURVIVAL SERIES ‘ALONE’ RETURNS
WITH A NEW TWIST FOR SEASON FOUR ON
THURSDAY, JUNE 15 AT 10PM ET/PT
New York, NY – May 22, 2017 – The adage goes, misery loves company and HISTORY is putting that to the test in a brand-new twist of its hit nonfiction survival series “Alone,” premiering Thursday, June 15 at 10PM ET/PT. In season four, seven teams of two will be separated and dropped miles apart with two ultimate goals: navigate the brutal, unforgiving terrain of Vancouver Island in an attempt to locate their isolated partner and, once reunited, survive as long as they can. For these seven pairs of family members will having a partner help or hurt their chances of going the distance?
“‘Alone’ continues to captivate viewers with its raw, authentic storytelling and now, after three seasons, we’re adding a new level of complexity to the show,” said Zachary Behr, Senior Executive Producer, HISTORY. “At its core the show remains the same as our survivalists endure the challenges of being isolated in some of the most unstable terrain imaginable. However, this season, pairs are initially separated from one another and must navigate an impenetrable forest in an effort to find each other. Once reunited, they’ll have to communicate, compromise and work together with their teammate if they want to endure the longest.”
Similar to previous seasons, the survivalists must build their own shelters, forage their own food, and overcome numerous obstacles if they want to be the last people standing. With ten survival tools to share per team, enough camera gear to self-document their experiences and a cash prize of $500,000 on the line, season four will bring more sacrifices and higher stakes than ever before. No camera crew. No gimmicks. It is the ultimate test of human will.
“Alone” is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. David George, Shawn Witt, Zachary Green and Ryan Pender serve as executive producers for Leftfield Pictures. Zachary Behr and Russ McCarroll serve as executive producers for HISTORY. A+E Networks holds worldwide distribution rights for both the series and the format for “Alone.”

I Love this Show !!! I could watch non stop!! My Favorite Show EVER !!!!
You can start a fire with the highly polished skillet, with the batteries that they give you, with water in the sleeve of the rain jacket, by fire-rolling a bit of your bandanna, using rust from the back side of your shovel as an accellerant. You can make a big, mcElroy pump drill in half a day, and it wont matter if your materials are wet, you’ll still easily get friction fire. Once you’ve got a fire, you can build a primitive shelter over it (keep it dampened) and bed your coals and some charcoal in ashes/dirt. It will remain… Read more »
none of them has had a clue about what to take or do. You have to make 2000+ sq ft of 1.5″ mesh netting, out of the hammock, the 12×12 tarp and half of the 20×20 tarp. With that guaranteed 5+ lbs of food per day, you can move on to varying your diet and all of the other stuff you need to do. The axe, saw, ferrorod, sleeping bag, belt knife, paracord, cookpot, 25 hooks, bow, are all either inferior or pointless picks. Take the Cold Steel shovel, modified to have 8″ of real saw edge. The show ‘Survival’ should watch this show to realize how fake their show is. And what is the real meaning of ‘Survival’.
I totally agree with all comments re this 4th season. Liked original format much better! Took most the show just watching sttuggle through tbe forest getting to partner and most of them with whining and not really doing anytbing except for Brooke.
We love the series. It’s the only series that we watch for new episodes/seasons
Loved the show until this season. These guys are so weak and whimpy! Before day 8 you lost 3 teams!. What happens if they all tap out before season is to end??they are not living up to their predecessors. All they do is whine and complain. Where did you find this bunch??I’m disappointed.
