Even though The Blacklist TV show’s ratings have dropped significantly each year, NBC still renewed it for a fifth season. Meanwhile, the spin-off — The Blacklist: Redemption — was cancelled after just one installment. At the end of this season, the original series should have well over 100 episodes in the can — more than enough for an attractive syndication package. Is this the end of the road for the Concierge of Crime? Will The Blacklist be cancelled or renewed for season six? Stay tuned.
An action thriller, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Kattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, and Hisham Tawfiq. The NBC crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader). He offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season five, Red is in the process of rebuilding his criminal empire, with her at his side. Although she’s still working for the Feds, Liz is sorely tempted to indulge her more criminal side. **Status update below.

They HAVE to renew the Blacklist. It’s my FAVOURITE show and James Spader is AMAZING in it. I especially love his little laugh. PLEASE DONT CANCEL PLEASE RENEW RENEW RENEW. It is a quality show that keeps you guessing. I will be DEVASTATED if it’s cancelled

I wonder if it counts that people are cutting cable as a whole anyways. It should be based off the numbers of people that still have it. People are starting to stream it on other sources.

I love the Blacklist. Nbc please renew for a Season six. It is the best show on Tv. Love James Spader and Megan Boone. I love all the characters and the storylines. Everyone has amazing chemistry and stories keep you on the edge of your couch to see what happens to who next time. I’ve seen every episode and I can’t wait for more. Please Nbc give the viewers more Blacklist and renew for Season Six!!!!
