The military drama centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Mike Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. The cast also includes Anne Heche, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas.
Despite following The Voice, The Brave‘s first season hasn’t been performing all that well in the ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 1.03 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.093 million viewers, making it one of NBC’s lowest-rated series for the 2017-2018 season.
However, it seems the series does have a passionate following. Fans have given The Brave a 9.53/10 rating in our Viewer Votes feature.
Some believe that The Brave has already been cancelled because NBC did not order additional episodes to give the military drama a full first season. However, Deadline reports that season one was intended to have just 13 episodes.
While the ratings have not been good, the official word from NBC is that The Brave is still in the running for a second season. There are four episodes left to air and the series returns on Monday, January 8th. The ratings for those episodes will likely carry a lot of weight when the NBC execs decide if they want to take a chance on a second season.

Please KEEP The Brave on! The actors are great, the stories are compelling and the whole show is well done. I will definitely be watching when it comes on again.
The Brave was a great show with great stories and great actors. I like military shows very much. Other series like reality shows are NOT reality. Please reconsider adding “The Brave” back for 2018.
Great show and should have never been canceled. Too many game, sitcoms and reality shows. I like real shows like this one. This show was better than the Seal Team. It was really really good.

I think that The Brave should be renewed. There are too many reality shows with little content. We need a variety of things to enjoy. I enjoy military type shows very much, as I hope others do to. Also romance type shows get old. The show has good story lines and I love the actors cast in the parts.

This is one of the best shows on and should absolutely be RENEWED! Strong characters, strong story lines, and far better and more realistic than the wanna-be SEALS. Can’t believe a quality show gets cancelled over much less quality shows that were renewed! My friends and entire family ABSOLUTELY LOVE this show. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

NBC should show more confidence in this show. Perhaps it needs a new night? Friday night would be good. This is a great show with strong characters and good stories. Don’t give up on this show! I want to know what happens to Preach.
