The first season of the Lethal Weapon TV show shall be a full one. FOX has ordered five additional episodes of Lethal Weapon, season one, bringing the total to 18 episodes for the 2016-17 television season.

Lethal Weapon stars Clayne Crawford, Damon Wayans, Kevin Rahm, Keesha Sharp, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, Jordana Brewster, and Johnathan Fernandez. Check out the FOX press release.

FOX ORDERS FULL SEASON OF “LETHAL WEAPON”

An All-New Episode Airs Tonight on FOX

FOX has ordered a full season of the hit action drama LETHAL WEAPON, picking up an additional five episodes, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. This brings the total order to 18 episodes for the 2016-17 season.

 

“LETHAL WEAPON delivers an explosive and wildly entertaining core relationship between two cops, with dynamic performances by Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford, surrounded by cinematic action, endearing humor and true heart,” said Madden. “Matt Miller, McG, Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz have done a tremendous job on this show, which has proven to be a self-starter and solid companion for EMPIRE. We are thrilled to add these episodes to LETHAL WEAPON’s first season.”

 

LETHAL WEAPON marked FOX’s highest fall premiere in two years, with a 3.2/12 Live + 7 rating among Adults 18-49 and 12.4 million viewers across all platforms to date, propelling FOX Wednesday to be premiere week’s highest-rated night of entertainment programming.  It is the No. 3 new drama this season (tied with “Bull”), with a 3.0/11 in Live + 7 among Adults 18-49 and the average multi-platform audience for the show is 11.5 million viewers in Live + 7.
