TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Longmire. Please renew this series!!! Great show.
Season 5 please
Love the show keep it going
Love the show keep it hoing
What was A&E thinking. Best show on television. Thank you Netflix for season 4. Sure hope there will be a season 5.
A&E doesn’t think anymore. That is why most of their programming stinks. They replace good to great series with crap. That is why I have taken A&E off my watch list. I no longer watch ANYTHING on A&E> NOTHING!!
Truly the best show on. Sad that A&E canceled it. Wish it was back on T.V.
The show is great! Character development and interaction between the Cheyenne Indians on the “Rez” and the town seems so plausible. Reminds me of the old “Gunsmoke” TV series when I was a kid but with a newness and freshness that folks today can relate to. Please keep it going forward! The writers are doing a great job with it!
Thanks Netflix Longmier had disappeared, thanks to you season 4 was awesome. It is the epitome of shows that we older folks remember and seek on TV. Hopeing for a season 5. Thanks again for season 4
Great series!! Ya’ll have to have at LEAST one more season to finish it out. So sick of so many series that just get cut with no closure. That is so damn lame to do that. I know my wife and I thoroughly enjoy this show and we have been talking it up to others who are now watching. I could see several seasons left. If your writers re burnt..call me! Ha-ha
Keep it going, please. For 1more season at least.
I hope they bring it back. I hated that Soprano-like ending of season 4 finale. I’d like to story lines closer to the original series and books.
We love Longmire! Keep it going! Thanks.
Longmire is the best series I have seen in a very long time. Can’t get enough of it.
Love the characters and the way their personalities and backgrounds are intertwined. There are clearly many ethics and loyalties keeping these people together. Especially love the connection between Walt and Vic and the way they are so loyal to each other.
It would be a mistake to not keep this series going.
Please bring it back.
Bring it back….It was nice to see a character with manners and intelligence…and a soft side deep inside that at some point needs to come out…It was just beginning to when it ended..Not fair…Walt is my Hero…
The fact not k
Great continue
I would like to see this show continue. I love this show, it is one of the best shows and I am so happy that Netflix picked it up. Please keep it going with no end in sight.
