On NCIS, Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team of special agents continue to investigate crimes that involve the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Co-stars are Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Brian Dietzen, Emily Wickersham, Rocky Carroll, David McCallum, and Mimi Rogers.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. Best show ever (next to 24). Yes, we miss Ziva, of course, she and Tony were the best! However, we are finally loving Bishop. In fact, on the last show where Bishop went back home after finding out her husband, Jake, was having an affair, I think my husband was actually ‘really mad’ at Jake for hurting her. Really? It’s just a movie, but his emotion speaks to how we feel about Bishop. Will she get back with Jake? Better not, in my opinion. This would reduce her score a few notches in my book.
I’ve been watching this show since FOREVER! Although the new crews chemistry is finally gelling [I e. Bishop, Tony D, & Tim Magee] I wonder if it will ever be as good as Ziva D. Oh how I really miss the dialog between her and DiNozo (Tony). Since she didn’t die, will they ever bring Ziva back. Sorry Bishop I think you are a wonderful actress. I really like the show with Bishop. A good friend still misses Sasha (I think). Cote may have left for the same reason as Sasha – too physical of a role – too many injuries. I wish Gibbs would marry a woman with children and grandchildren.
People always complaining that they want Tony/Ziva back. When are we gonna have some Gibbs/Ducky action. They’ve been dancing around for years.

True about knee surgery but there are so many shows that take license with real life stuff we would never watch TV. Hmm not a bad idea. A dear friend of mine does not own a TV and she is a really happy camper.
I thought the season premier was just OK…. Oh, and anyone who’s had knee surgery… Yes, I had major knee surgery………. knows that Gibbs would NOT have been up and around like he was on that leg in just 2 weeks!!!! They should have either given him a brace, or a limp, or a cane or something. I found this part ridiculous.
It wasn’t 2 weeks.. watch it tonight and pay attention. .it was 3 months.
I was hoping the storyline would continue with the villian – Daniel. Anyway, I did not see it as boring at all! A couple of seasons ago, the writing went downhill, but, in my opinion, came back to form the last 2 years.
They wont cancell it! Just because one bad episode was aired ( which wasnt bad fyi) doesnt mean its going downhill. S13E05 will be an amazing one!
To quote my spouse who is a die-hard NCIS on last nights season premier: “This episode was boring. This’ll get cancelled if they keep writing like this” I myself find it barely tolerable to watch.
NCIS is a great and make sure to watch every week that it is on.
