What’s in store for Ransom? Recently, EP Frank Spotnitz teased the CBS TV show’s upcoming season two finale.
The mystery thriller centers on crisis and hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont (Luke Roberts) and his team. The cast also includes Sarah Greene, Brandon Jay McLaren, and Nazneen Contractor.
In the interview, Spotnitz revealed the season two finale of Ransom “goes some place nobody is expecting.” It’s currently unclear if CBS will renew the TV show for a third season or not, but you can catch the season two finale tomorrow, June 30th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

We love Ransom! Not everyone goes clubbing on Saturday nights. This is very entertaining,& each episode gets better & better. Please,do not cancel this show. Inanities like Big Brother go on & on,but really engaging,interesting programs get the hook without a second thought.

Ransom is a unique show, it’s entertaining, well written with good character development and it should be renewed! CBS should give programs time to build up an audience following. I don’t even watch the first season of new shows anymore because the networks generally don’t give new shows enough time to build up an audience. I won’t invest my time in any new CBS shows anymore until I see at least a third season, then I will enjoy the binge and will catch up!
