The Rush Hour TV show was cancelled by CBS. Eight episodes of 13 have aired. The network has confirmed it will burn off the remaining episodes on Saturday nights, this summer. As previously reported, CBS has also confirmed remaining episodes of the cancelled Angel From Hell sitcom, starring Jane Lynch and Maggie Lawson, will also air on Saturdays.

Rush Hour  stars Justin Hires and Jon Foo as mismatched police officers.  The Rush Hour TV series cast also includes: Aimee Garcia, Page Kennedy, and Wendie Malick. Kirk Fox recurs. Yesterday, we reported CBS had removed the Rush Hour TV series from the Thursday night schedule and replaced it with Code Black, which the network recently renewed for a second season.

I really loved watching the rush hour movies and when the series came out i was thrilled, with jackie chan getting old i feared that all the kung fu action movies would go with him, people are complaining about how the actors are cheap knock off but i think its about the characters they play and not who they are.In addition i hope this series will not go away forever.

I like Rush Hour for the type of show it is…have watched all episodes to date…loved the movies and I thought the T.V. version translated well. I’m pleased the network will finish off the remaining episodes -I’ll watch them. I also really liked Battle Creek and it too was cancelled rather abruptly. The common reasons for a series cancellation seem to end up being a mystery to many of us, as I speak to friends. It’s difficult to stay committed to a story (script, location) or a character(s), music etc. when it’s really done well.

Thank you.

What is wrong with CBS!? This is the second series I have followed because they are excellent shows and they are cancelling them. First “Person of Interest” and now “Rush Hour”. I’m starting to get very frustrated with this broadcasting company.

Such a shame. “Rush Hour” was full of action and comedy. I’m not sure what CBS is thinking. Outside of “Mom,” I rarely watch anything on their network. It was nice to something more lighthearted and funny to counteract all of their other crimes shows. I hope they reconsider.

My husband and I loved watching this show together. It’s hard anymore to find a show that we both enjoy. I am very sad to see this one go. I especially will miss Gerald’s antics, they were great!

I was enjoying it, I mean the movies are great but you didn’t really see the friendship develop past one case and vacation… so the show exploring it and adding to it was nice. The actors really weren’t that bad given they were playing characters from a movie and… Carter is a lot less loud then Chris Tucker so it was more watchable every week. Okay no Jackie Chan but the guy they had wasn’t bad and you could see they were having some fun with it. It being cancelled is sad as well it seemed to preform as well… Read more »

It is upsetting to find out that this amazing show will soon be cancelled. I looked forward to this show each week. It kept me going through the week. When Wednesday rolls up I know, “Well, at least Rush Hour is on”. I do believe it aired on a poor day and CBS didn’t encounter that before they made their decision, but I don’t know exactly what happened. It seems as if CBS has a tendency on abandoning new shows too soon. Sometimes TV shows take off and get popularity in later seasons, and not to give Rush Hour that… Read more »

You keep some of those other crap shows on but you cancel one of the good ones. You schedule it on Thursday nights which is s notoriously hard for any NEW show to do well. Then, when it doesnt do as well in your all important age group, do you try moving it to a different night!?? No, you just up and CANCEL it!!! I… Read more »
