Rush Hour: CBS Confirms Cancelled Series for Saturdays

by Cindy McLennan, May 27, 2016

Rush Hour TV show on CBS: season 1 canceled; no season 2.

The Rush Hour TV show was cancelled by CBS. Eight episodes of 13 have aired. The network has confirmed it will burn off the remaining episodes on Saturday nights, this summer. As previously reported, CBS has also confirmed remaining episodes of the cancelled Angel From Hell sitcom, starring Jane Lynch and Maggie Lawson, will also air on Saturdays.

Rush Hour  stars Justin Hires and Jon Foo as mismatched police officers.  The Rush Hour TV series cast also includes: Aimee Garcia, Page Kennedy, and Wendie Malick. Kirk Fox recurs. Yesterday, we reported CBS had removed the Rush Hour TV series from the Thursday night schedule and replaced it with Code Black, which the network recently renewed for a second season.

I have really enjoyed this series. It’s a shame it’s going to be cancelled. If the network would leave these shows on a little longer, maybe the ratings would go up. One season just doesn’t make sense. Some shows are cut after just a few episodes. This is just plain stupid! But they keep some of the worst sitcom comedies I have ever seen!

I enjoyed Rush Hour very much – sorry it was cancelled
I don’t think the network gave the show a chance
Would like to have the show back
Think about bringing it back – even only for summer time when all the reruns are on
Give us viewers something to look forward to
Thank you

I liked the show I thought it was great . And it really sucks that it can just be canceled for the reason given. This has been happening to much with a lot of new shows, even some old. Tv is almost not worth paying for any more. I’d rather watch Netflix these days

Why does every good show get cancelled and replaced with a crappy show? Rush Hour was action packed had a good story line and the acting was great. This is why I will quit watching CBS. They just will not give shows a chance. So long!!!

Definitely bummed that this is cancelled. Watched it in the spring and summer and was excited to continue watching it for a second season.

This Show gave a break from the Real world hustle and bustle, you can sit back relax and enjoy Carter and Lee’s antics, This show is one of the best shows there is out there natural raw talent, doesn’t seem over choreographed, I love that every episode ties in with the next and always bring more fun and excitement to the next. Please if my opinion counts don’t cancel this show.
