There have been many soap operas in the history of American television but, today, only four remain — The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), Days of Our Lives (NBC), General Hospital (ABC), and The Young and the Restless (CBS). How long will these four survive? That will likely have a lot to do with the ratings. Stay tuned.

I have watched The Young & the Restless since I was a freshman in college – for the past 44 plus years. It is something I look forward to each day. I absolutely LOVE this show.

Why do u people keep watching these soap operas based on materialistic values and stories, gossip and backstabbing people? I don’t get it. World would be healthier if soap operas were totally gone from air waves. A book or novel would be healthier for entertainment. My view.
I love all 4 of the soaps I have watched them since I was a little girl I am 56 now please don’t take any of them off I miss all my children I would love to see that soap come back
Days of our lives use to be so good. Now the writers are putting so much drama in every character. How can someone come in saying he is family and take over company. Just crazy and he is so resentful. Get rid of him and make this soap what it use to be. Is anyone on the show happy.
Cancel!! I have watched Days for 50years. I can not stand to see such bad acting and sipt writing. Let remember the Good Days of my life . I am done with it.
I am not sure the ratings take in to consdiration that Y&R and B&B are on the POP channel later in the afternoon. Are they taking the ratings on those shows in consideration?

OMG! These are the last of the daytime drama shows. Please do not take off GH; I still miss OLTL. With all the insane things going on in the world, like the madness in the news each day and all of these reality shows. This is still the best thing from the past when life was so much more simpler and happier. I think the idiots at CBS/Sony are making a huge mistake not bringing back Adam aka Michael Muhney, when I heard the REAL story that he profusely apologized for acting high & mighty and they were going to bring him back after break KNEW the bs with Hunter King was not true but refused to speak out saying they would have to for every actor if they did so that REALLY made me blow my top they left him high and dry knowing he was innocent and had a family they OWE him and the fans to bring him back… Read more »
Please keep the Bold and Beautiful on the air CBS! It is my husband and my favorite show ! We watch it every night after work. Our only complaint is it is over too quickly. Great cliffhangers! So glad Liam forgave Steffy! Great acting and storylines… great escapism. Wish we would see more of the other actors, too…
Omgosh!!! GH has to be renewed…too many good actors and actresses in the cast..my daughters and I record and look forward to it every single day..my girlfriends watch too..it’s popular on fb in the groups and just among people posting… what the heck does The Bold and the Beautiful have that attracts all the viewers? I’ve never watched it!!! GH all the way!!! Please stay!!!!

You need to get a “more” manly character for Leam in Bold and the Beautiful. He is very boring! and never shows decisiveness. The on-going story of Leam and his wife is getting boring.

you need to move GH to 12 pm instead of 2pm. Yand R is why they have been no 1 for awhile. everybody is on lunch break.
Since GF has been on Y&R as well as Days.I would love to see her on B&B as a fresh new character. Love her .GH really messed up….Wherever Genie goes her fans are sure to follow .
She had no storyline. Just because she’s a legacy character doesn’t mean she should get special treatment. If there’s nothing for her to do on screen then there’s no purpose in paying her.
