What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the TV Land cable channel, the Teachers TV show is based on a web series of the same name from The Katydids improv group. While the series revolves around six elementary school teachers who are trying to mold young minds — their own lives aren’t really together. Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O’Brien, and Kathryn Thomas star.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Teachers averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 518,000 viewers. Compared to season one, it was down by 2% in the demo, but up by about 30% in viewers. Find out how Teachers stacks up against the other TV Land TV shows.
Telly’s Take
TV Land initially renewed Teachers for a second season of 20 episodes. They then decided to break up those episodes into two seasons of 10 episodes each. On April 20th, the cable channel announced the ten episodes coming in the fall would be the second half of season two, and that it had ordered a 20-episode third season. Details here.

This is one of the funniest shows. My husband and I love it. We are in our late 50’s and it is hysterical. People need to lighten up and just have fun and watch it and enjoy!!!! Life is too short so enjoy!!!
I binge watched both seasons over the last couple of days and am sad I have to wait for the third season. It’s funny, I think everyone can relate to at let alone one character a little bit.

I tried to watch the show-Teachers. Based on the previews in pilot, I knew it was going to be very dirty, crude and plain stupid. I was wrong, it was much worse.
So many low quality tv shows that get airtime these days. Anyone with a printer gets airtime.
Ultimately, this and many shows in the same filthy tone are excellent reasons to start reading again.

I am a teacher with 30 years of experience and this show makes me LAUGH so much! I can insert a colleagues name for every character.
My wife is a teacher and we both like the show and are hoping for a season 3.
Love Teachers! Tuesday is my favorite day of the week now! There better be a 3rd season and many more to come!!!

TV land has gone to far for the shows they are producing. Teachers is Literally from the pits of hell and I pray it goes the way of Impastor and is canceled.
I have now blocked TV Land, I don’t want they’re Garbage and Filth in my home!
Cancel this awful, vulgar, nasty show. The networks don’t need to go this low to find something to get ratings. Get your minds back out of the gutter. No one I know watches this.
