This fantasy dramedy TV show is based on the series of made-for-TV-movies of the same name.
Widowed Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale (Catherine Bell) is a good-hearted enchantress who lives in the community of Middleton. She lives with her young-teenage daughter Grace (Bailee Madison), who shares the same special intuition as her mom.
Their lives get even more interesting when curmudgeonly and divorced doctor Sam Radford (James Denton) and his troublesome son Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) move in next to the Grey House from New York. They are immediately spellbound by the mother-daughter duo next door, but Sam and Cassie quickly find they don’t see eye to eye.
Stephanie (Kylee Evans), the owner of a local bistro, is smitten with the town’s new doctor. George O’Hanrahan (Peter MacNeill) is the father of Cassie’s late husband’s late first wife, — whom Grace calls Grandpa — and new police officer Brandon Russell (Dan Jeannotte) is Cassie’s step-son. Martha Tinsdale (Catherine Disher) is the town’s mayor and Derek Sanders (Noah Cappe) is the chief of police.
With her signature charm, Cassie attempts to bring everyone together, ensuring all of Middleton is in for big surprises and a little bit of magic.

I LOVE The Good Witch, and having Catherine Bell back on weekly tv is a definite plus. We NEED family oriented shows like this and Cedar Cove in this day and age of “anything goes.” Liking James Denton as Sam more each week. The one thing missing is Cassie’s “magic” from the movies……get the writers on that, and definitely RENEW The Good Witch for next season. And, 10 episodes is NOT enough!!!
I love this show! It is a program I can watch with my Grandchildren and not have to worry about it’s content! It seems those programs are the ones they cancel and leave the immoral on!

There is nothing to watch on Sat. nites. I really look forward to watching this show and the Hallmark channel movie that follows.
Have always enjoyed Hallmark thru the years. It alwlays leaves you with a good feeling and a happy ending. Thats what we need more of these days. More magical feelings and
something light.
I absolutely love this series! In a not-so-nice real world, it’s refreshing to have this type of entertainment, this show brings ‘feel good’ vibes, with a bit of realness. Catherine is made for this role. All characters feel perfectly cast. The writing is believable with many good lessons that can be used in real life,along the way through the story. The show is awesome! Please keep it going afor many years to come!! Thank you for such wonderful entertainment.

Love The Good Witch. Very disappointed in Hallmark for only having it on for 6 weeks. Look forward to a renewal and a longer season. Great cast!

I love “The Good Witch”! The cast is fantastic! I love the chemistry between Cassie and Sam. Grace is adorable and also a gifted young actress.
The only two characters I miss seeing is the Grandfather and the older half sister of Grace.
I love the storyline each week- watch it faithfully each week and again a day later.
I hope this series stays on the air for many years!
Love the show. Martha and Derrick are too corny. Would like to see a little more of the mystery and magic. I hope it is renewed.
