What’s This TV Show About?

An HBO TV series from creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, High Maintenance stars Sinclair as a nameless Brooklyn weed delivery person, known only as “The Guy.” Each episode of cannabis deliveryman comedy-drama features customers, from whom “The Guy” gets a different glimpse of Big Apple living. New guest stars in the third season include Jemima Kirke, Margaret Cho, Guillermo Diaz, Rosie Perez, Kathleen Chalfant, Ken Leung, and Annie Golde. Amy Ryan, Gary Richardson, Arthur Meyer, Jen Harris, Micah Sherman, and Abdullah Saeed return in High Maintenance season three.
 

Season Three Ratings

The third season of High Maintenance averaged a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 227,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 35% and 43%, respectively. Learn how High Maintenance stacks up against the other HBO TV shows.
 

Telly’s Take

Will High Maintenance be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season on HBO? The ratings have never been very high and it seems like it doesn’t cost as much as a regular scripted series to produce so, I suspect this show will continue until the creators want to stop making it.
