What’s next for The Indian Detective? Recently, star Russell Peters revealed there is a second season in the works for the Netflix TV show.
The Canadian comedy stars Peters as Doug D’Mello, a Toronto police officer who gets caught up in a murder investigation while visiting his father in Mumbai. The cast also includes Mishqah Parthiephal, Christina Cole, Scott Cavalheiro, Anupam Kher, Hazma Haq, and William Shatner.
On Twitter and during an interview with CP24, Peters teased a second season of The Indian Detective. Netflix has yet to confirm a renewal.

Thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 of The Indian Detective. Wondering when we can expect Season 2? It is so unique and fresh with a really good cast! Please, Netflix, don’t keep us waiting another year or 2. Thanks for listening to one of many similar opinions.
Just watched it. Couldn’t do much else but finish the episodes. Fun,funny, excellent locations, well acted. Could have been real B material but gr at mix of Toronto born Indian finding himself in India and facing his heritage culture and finding an amazing woman. Can’t wait for season 2.

I just discovered The Indian Detective. I am enjoying it so far but was disappointed there is no season 2. Hopefully season 2 is coming soon.
