DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has some new company. Variety reports Smash star Tala Ashe has joined season three of the CW TV show.
The DC Comics drama follows a team of superheroes who battle foes throughout past and present to save the world. The cast includes Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.
In season three, Ashe will play Zari Adrianna Tomaz, “a Muslim-American woman from the year 2030 who lives in a world of contradictions — technology has brought about incredible change in her future, but too bad human nature hasn’t kept pace.”
Season three of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is coming this fall to The CW.
