TV show description:
A reimagining of the classic television series from the 1980s, this action-adventure drama centers around a twenty-something problem-solving adventurer.
Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) creates a clandestine organization within the United States government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives.
MacGyver’s team of experts join him on high-risk missions around the globe. They include maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton (George Eads); Patricia Thornton (Sandrine Holt), an ex-field agent turned director of operations; and Riley Davis (Tristin Mays), an unpredictable computer hacker with a chip on her shoulder. At home, MacGyver is entertained by his ambitious roommate, Wilt Bozer (Justin Hires).
Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip.

LOVE that MacGyver will return for Season 2!! This is my family’s very favorite show. We are thrilled that our children are excited now to learn more about Chemistry, physics, etc thanks to MacGyver.
I thoroughly e joy this program. It’s such a refreshing break from the predictable, repetitive, and boring kind of dystopian high tech crime dramas. It’s a nice blend of tongue-in-cheek relationships between the main characters, where character development is a significant portion of the program. It’s not predictably linear. We find out things about characters from their past, that help us to understand whom they are. Humor is one of the most winning aspects of this program. Thank heaven it looks like it’s sticking around. I enjoy the chemistry between the characters, I was happy to see George Eades back on a series, and it makes the Friday night veiwing lineup a lot of fun. When will it be aired again? I just scrolled through tonight’s meagre offerings for this time slot and decided my choices are playing a computer game or washing the supper dishes. 🙁

Was not happy at first about this updated version but watched and was instantly hooked!! Very well done and love all the actors. Watch every week now–record if I can’t be home! Please keep this going! Makes Friday nights great along with Hawaii Five-O!
Great show that combines Riley with her up to date computer skillz, Bozer with his crazy prosthetics, make-up skillz, amazing facial recognition, and the humor to go with it, especially his infatuation with Riley, Jack the muscle to Mac’s crazy use of just about anything to make whatever they seem to need at the time–the bromance/ old married couple antics with Jack and Mac AND of course the added Mac eye candy !!! You have to keep it going it is funny and always make me laught, and Mac is of some sort of eyekandy, for me and my friends

I really hope this gets renewed! My boys will be devastated if this is cancelled. It’s one of the few shows we all like to sit down and watch as a family.
I’ve tried to watch, usually on demand but see a lot of potential. I don’t compare to original as I loved Richard Dean ( I was young and half in love with the character) but while new Mac lacks his “je ne sais quoi” the team makaes it worthwhile . Let’s keep it and watch it grow:)
This is another good show with drama, comedy and suspense in it. My wife and I watch it all the time.
