What’s going on with Nicki? Pitchfork reports the upcoming Freeform series has been postponed.

Bases on the life of Nicki Minaj, the show follows the life of a young girl and her family growing up in Queens, NY. The cast includes Ariana Neal, Selita Ebanks, Wesley Jonathan, and McCarrie McCausland.

During a recent interview, Minaj said the pilot is being retooled:

A lot of things were happening at the same time, and creatively we wanted to make some changes with the pilot. We’re taking our time—everyone involved wants it to be perfect and I felt like there were other things that needed to be figured out first.”
