Outlander is getting ready for its fifth season, but those behind the series are already looking at life after Outlander ends. Is it possible fans could see the world seen in the series pop up again in a spinoff? Starz has already announced a total of four spin-offs for Power recently. It is possible that Outlander will get similar treatment.
Per Variety, Ron Moore, the executive producer of Outlander, said the following about the possibility at the premiere for season five of the Starz series:
“We are definitely talking about it, there’s nothing official but we’re in conversations about it.”
Jeff Hirsch, the CEO of Starz, also spoke about Outlander spin-offs in January at the TCA’s.
The cast of Outlander features Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, David Berry, John Bell, Ed Speleers, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Cesar Domboy, Lauren Lyle, Colin McFarlane, Natalie Simpson, Kyle Rees, and Tim Downie.

Diana Gabaldon is an amazing writer and just pulls you in with her words and I am so glad that Starz has given us such an amazing show. Outlander is more than just my favorite show. It is the only show where I watch episodes over and over again. The actors are amazing and we see so much of the beautiful landscape, learn history, and a little bit of Gaelic as well. Leave the show alone!!! But add in more love between them and more children of their own or at least one more child. The love between them was my favorite part.

I totally agree. And hasn’t the wonderful Diana provided enough material for several long-running Outlander spin-offs? I have never collected fiction books, but I have about ten of hers! And I’m nearly 87, so I’ve had lots of time to pick and choose!

I actually would love to see a show spin off about The MacKenzie Clan. You just fall in love with Season 1 and that cast just really pulled you in. I always felt that they were all rich enough characters to hold their own show. From Colum and his wife Latitia, she was a really great character that I wanted to see more of and see her come into power, to Rupert and Angus comedic/loyal frienship. Also Dougal’s character and the back story with Geillis affair is interesting.
