Ray Donovan: Season Five Ratings

Published: October 31, 2017

Ray Donovan TV show on Showtime: season 5 ratings (canceled or season 6 renewal?)

Although the show’s linear ratings haven’t been enormous, the Ray Donovan TV show has been a top three performer for Showtime, in terms of both total audience size and demo numbers. Can it stay on track? Will Ray Donovan be cancelled or renewed for season six? Stay tuned.

A Showtime crime drama, Ray Donovan stars Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Steven Bauer, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey, and Devon Bagby. Susan Sarandon, Kim Raver, C. Thomas Howell, Brian White, Adina Porter, Rhys Coiro, Lili Simmons, Tara Buck, and Dominique Columbus guest star in season five.

Ray Donovan centers on L.A.’s best professional fixer (Schreiber). It’s up to Ray to make the biggest problems of the city’s celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear. In the fifth season, Ray must attend a court-ordered anger management program, following a bar fight. Meanwhile, as Terry (Marsan) and Maureen’s (Buck) wedding looms, Mickey (Voight), Bunchy (Mihok), and Daryll (Hall) get ready for it. Eventually, Ray is drawn deeper into Sam Winslow’s (Sarandon) web.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: the fourth season of Ray Donovan averaged a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.227 million viewers.

A&E | ABC | AMC | Bravo | CBS | CMT | The CW | FOX | Freeform | FX | FXX
Hallmark | HBO | History | MTV | NBC | OWN | Showtime | Starz | Syfy | TBS

Believe Ray Donavan writers and actors who are responsible for disrespectful christian statements such as Jesus F—en Christ should stop. It is sacrilegious and hurtful to all Christians

Not to crazy about the story line for this season. It would have been better to have kept Abby as a survivor and just allowed them to have marital problems and have Ray stray. Like father like son have a child outside of his home especially since he’s made it his life’s mission to be nothing like Mickey. Also deal with a story of Avi with his issues then the kids leaving home. Bring the law firm back into play along with the new studio business and go from there that would have kept ratings up and the series going strong.… Read more »

They ruined show for me when they let Abby die. That episode at the sex ranch was the best this year and Abby made it happen. Abby brought the F word to a new loveable height.
