As longtime television viewers know, there used to be a lot more soap operas on the air. Today, only four of them remain — The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), Days of Our Lives (NBC), General Hospital (ABC), and The Young and the Restless (CBS). Their ratings are a fraction of what they used to be, even a few years ago, so it can feel like they’re on borrowed time. How long will these four survive? That will likely have a lot to do with the ratings. Stay tuned.

Really do miss the good old days,when you could watch
soaps,and they were on all afternoon,on all 3 chanels!! What can be done to get them back. Somethings need to remain untouched. No more reality showes!
I have been a fan of Days of our lives for a very long time. I love the show and would be so upset if they cancelled it. I don’t think i could stomach another reality show. If NBC cancels Days of our Lives i will be cancelling NBC. I support all sponsor’s that have made this show possible and hope they continue to do so.
General Hospital still delivers fun, escape, and nice mysteries. I’d rather watch it over super violent, depressing, overly mean spirited shows. Goes back to rooting for the hero/heroine and booing the villains. good guys slip and fall from grace but even the worst person has a chance of redemption. A morality play.
My mom just turned 90 in August 2019 & has me (63 yrs old) HOOKED on Days of our Lives for about a year now.
General hospital is a great escape from the many many news show. Last thing left that my deceased mom and I enjoyed.
Its horrible .
We watch B=B and it is getting terrible . Drugs please What are you teaching teenagers give them drugs and you do what you want to them .. Taking a life and it is ok. You can get away with it please get on with the show. It was was good at one time
