What’s This TV Show About?
A documentary reality series on the CBS television network, Undercover Boss follows members of major corporations’ upper management as they go undercover in their own companies, to get an idea of what it’s like to work as a lower-level employee. Created by Stephen Lambert, the show is based on the UK program of the same name. Mark Keller serves as the narrator.
Season Eight Ratings
The eighth season of Undercover Boss is averaging a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.67 million viewers. Compared to season seven, that’s down by 15% and down by 12%, respectively. Find out how Undercover Boss stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.
Although the ratings are down a little this season, Undercover Boss is mostly holding its own. As a reality show, it is far less expensive to produce than scripted TV shows, and that works in its favor. It’s also good filler for the network. So, will CBS cancel or renew Undercover Boss for season nine? Right now, I expect a renewal is more likely than not.
