Whoopi is back. Entertainment Weekly reports Whoopi Goldberg is returning to The View for the 2016-17 season.
Earlier, we reported new co-host Michelle Collins was leaving the series after one season. Goldberg has been a co-host on the morning talk show since 2007.
She confirmed her return on Twitter:
Ok NOW it's official, I have re-upped for 1 year returning to @TheView 4 the 2016/2017 season. Will continue 2 annoy some, delight others

CANCEL THE MOST RACIST HATEFUL TALK SHOW “THE VIEW”.REPLACE IT WITH A GAME SHOW OR ALL NEW CAST. I QUIT WATCHING 5 YEARS AGO AND CONVINCED ALL OF MY FAMILY AND COWORKERS TO DO SO AS WELL.

This is a show about a group of angry women that have nothing nice to say. Please find something positive to fill that time slot. There is enough hatred in the world, do we need to give these women a platform for more?
I used to watch the view, but stopped last year and would off and on turn it on. It has gotten so bad that I’ll NEVER watch again. Very much to the left and very ugly bullying from these women. Whoopi had said if Trump was elected she would leave the country, what happened?? Good bye
This program is truly trash and insults even a little intelligence. They gave women, a black, a gay a show and they feel they can bash or out squeal anyone not agreeing with their liberal trash.
Has America not shown these people they don’t agree with their trash?? I know .. I know they say the popular vote. But if California and New York were supposed to choose our Presidents there is a large land mass full of people that would stop it. Oh yes.. they did that didn’t they??

I used to like Whoopie and the show but it has become so spiteful, and lopsided – 3 against 1 politically is not fair. Why don’t you even out the political view a bit? Joy should be fired; she is a nut case and I am so tired of hearing her rants. I most usually now turn the show off after the first 10 minutes.
Please remove Jedediah Bill, she is an idiot. She makes comments that just don’t make any sense at all! Love the rest of the ladies!
Please cancel the show . Goldberg always interrupts the other cast that are trying to speak . And Joy doesn’t let the others finish speaking either . They are supposed to be adults . They need a talking stick . One person speaks at a time . They obviously don’t respect each other . A cat fight sounds better than all their chaos !! I vote to have the show cancelled and the sooner the better .
