What do you think? Have you seen Windy City Rehab? Are you glad the show is coming back?
I hate the obnoxious woman. She is horrible host
The guy is ok
I love, love, love Windy City Rehab. Her designs are freaking amazing!!! Please keep this show!!!!
YES! HOPE they focus focus on Allison and Ari.
I enjoy watching the show but in the end it feels a bit empty, I would really like to know when the homes that Alison and Donovan renovate sell, and did they make a profit. If I remember correctly only one or two of her projects have sold and one of them was to a buyer who bought it up front.
I like the show and Victoria is very good on camera and has the ability to hold the audience attn and be entertaining. It seems like several of the projects havent sold quickly and I would have to wonder what the duo s profit margins are like as they buy expensive properties, put alot of money in them, and seemingly finance the majority of the cost. Plus the projects take a long time to finish and sell which is not the usual way flippers make their money/
Love this show! Victoria spends big to get big returns! She’s not your typical designer which is refreshing & I love the “push & pull” with her partner. Great design ideas on old/new properties. Chicago based with Chicago style and Chicago sized projects. Thrilled it’s renewed! I’d love to share a bottle of wine & talk design with Victoria!
Victoria does not seem to be a professional designer in the respect that she doesn’t seem to be able to stay within her budget, or maintain an arms length in designing, because she runs wild, everything is about her personal tastes, not a neutral logical point of view for the area. A Front door handle that cost thousands? Please! Is she out of her mind? No wonder they do not sell their homes. Give me a break! It’s irritating at best, I feel sorry for her business partner.
I wouldn’t let this woman manage rehabbing my dogs house. Shes not professional at all. Shes a walking OHSA violation. Put on some real work boots, and jeans without holes in them. Put on a hard hat and some safety glasses!! I watched several episodes and I can tell you she couldn’t project manage her way out of a sand box. Who tries to perform renovations in the winter, in Chicago, WITHOUT temporary heating? Remember the episode where the water main froze in the basement and flooded the house? That’s the most bonehead move I’ve EVER seen. No heat in… Read more »
This is by far the best show on HGTV now, and I’m thrilled it’s been renewed. Lived in Chicago 2011-2015, and apparently I can’t afford to go back, but Alison Victoria is so likeable and entertaining that it’s still fun to watch the show. I love her personality, her knowledge, her fast pace, and her self-assured, confident manner. But it was good that she did admit those arches were too low—that humanized her. Love the dynamic with Donovan—clearly some sparks there! I think her style is fresh and modern, and I tell all my younger friends about the show. I… Read more »
Absolutely love her blend between old and new.
I’m an avid collector of unique vintage historical items and Allison has such a gift of blending those with modern touches and still keeping the historical beauty of each home ♥️ Huge fan of Donovan as well her adorable work husband. Such a great show and breath of “fresh air “ to the HGTV family! Hoping they continue this show for years to come!!!
I just watched three episodes this morning for her million dollar house rehabs. At the end of each one, the houses remained unsold! The homes are gorgeous but very pricey! The profit potential was great if sold in a timely manner. Curious what profits are actually made.
Although replacing or trying to replace Fixer Upper, will never happen. This show has way to much drama. It seems so rehearsal!
Family, faith,, getting through without dramatically over head was Chip and Jo! And humor to boot.
family, faith…………………how nauseating………….you know not everybody cares about those pathetic ideals, especially the faith part. Religion is the opiate of the people
Love Windy City Rehab! I grew up in Chicago and now live in Florida ( retirement). Love seeing my city in this show and Allison Victoria
I must admit that I was excited to see this new series. But I also must admit as well as question the ability of Alison Victoria 2 design and manage the rehabs of the size that they’ve undertaken. It’s obvious that she may understand Chicago to some degree but the haphazard way she goes about getting these done is disappointing.
I am no longer a fan of the show.
I like Windy City Rehab! I am born and raised in Bloomingdale, Wheaton and the Southside of Chicago. I left Chicago in 1992 and I currently live in Florida. I come home to visit often. I notice you tend to rehab in the Lincoln Park, Bucktown area. Why not expand out to all areas of Chicago? The Southside has money and many areas that need to be rehabbed. Would love to see you Rehab Hyde Park and further out south. Being your skills to all areas of Chicago not just the Lincoln Park area.
