Things aren’t looking too good for Alex at any age. CBS has pulled its Me, Myself & I TV show from the schedule, replacing it with 9JKL and adding the second season of Matt LeBlanc’s Man With a Plan. This is yet another sign that Me, Myself & I is cancelled, although the network says it will return to the schedule “…at a later date.” There were already indications the Tiffany Network was disappointed with the freshman comedy’s Nielsen ratings performance. Back on October 25th, they switched Superior Donuts into the 9:00pm timeslot and moved Me, Myself & I to 9:30pm.
A CBS sitcom, Me, Myself & I stars Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer, Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster, Sharon Lawrence, and John Larroquette. It centers on the defining moments in the life of Alex Riley — in 1991 at age 14 (Grazer); in 2017, at 40 (Moynihan); and in 2042, as 65-year-old (Larroquette).
Me, Myself & I: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of Me, Myself & I is averaging a 1.01 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.96 million viewers. Amongst the other CBS TV shows, Me, Myself & I currently ranks 13th when sorted by its demo ratings and 17th in terms of total viewership.
According to Deadline, CBS will complete its 13 episode production order for Me, Myself & I. Still, it is not clear when they will air, and the network is unlikely to order a full season.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Me, Myself & I TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for season two on CBS?
Unfortunately most of the networks make their choices based on conventional TV viewers and are living in the past when “destination TV” was your only option to see a program. TIVO and downloads bring programs to many that do not count in their determinations. I know that they are interested in the direct advertising customers that they can sell the show. A show that is quality will find an audience but not necessarily with the Neilson houses. Most of them will not give unique concepts any time to prove themselves. Remember that Startrek was cancelled early. This single program is… Read more »
I agree in regards to programming in general. I love that you remember Journeyman – and there I thought I was the only one still talking about my frustration when it was cancelled. There was such a wonderful intrigue, I remember feeling quite miffed that they cancelled it right at a cliffhanger point.
I PERSONALLY think Me myself & I was the best series I’ve ever watched I really hope it comes back, it’s really addicting and I’d like to finish what I’ve started with this series
This was a fun, original comedy. Looked forward each week to watching it. Don’t think CBS gave it a long enough chance to be added to viewers schedules.
My whole family loves this show. Can’t believe it’s being cancelled.
Please give this wonderful show a chance! The characters at every age are funny and relatable, as were the life lessons creatively delivered during each show. My teenage daughter and I looked forward to watching it together every week, only to see it suddenly disappear — and with a disappointing replacement. I agree with some of the other posts — this is a clever, witty show that doesn’t “dumb it down” like other sitcoms on the air. It took me a couple shows to adjust to the back and forth and that may explain the early low ratings, but please… Read more »
Many TV shows, series don’t last. The last one to three years and then they’re canceled. Then they are shows like this… but unfortunately CBS network seems to be having a nightmare with really bad shows this season or should I say the past few years. It has nothing to do with morals or social types more about ( creed of population . It all depends on what the network is trying to achieve. That is who they want to watch their shows the types of people they want to watch the shows the demographics and I’m not talking about… Read more »
In short, over 45 years old, we are over the hill, that’s it Grandma and Grandpa, you can step into your coffin now, because there are no more shows aiming at you. It does get me a tad irritated…
I like Me, Myself, and I. It is a different kind of comedy, really 3 shows in 1.
Bring it back and give it a chance!
I agree with Tamra. Two Broke Girls is a terrible show in my opinion. It’s just vulgar and stupid. Me, myself & I on the other hand is clever, different and charming. So far the show has delivered solid performance in every episode. The writing is good, the acting is good and the story comes across both funny and interesting. CBS dropped the ball canceling this show.
This show was innovative, witty and funny. Why are you cancelling it when you haven’t given it a chance to find its audience? Stop putting on stupid shows that please stupid people–shows like Two Broke Girls, Superior Donuts, etc.
Disappointing! It’s a really clever and original show with a talented cast. I suppose that’s why it didn’t fit the CBS lineup of predictable comedy shows.
BOO! This is a fun show with an interesting and unique concept, compelling characters and good acting.
Actually it makes perfect sense to me. It was a show I liked from episode one so of course it would be canceled.
For the love of all that is good, I truly hope and pray that they don’t cancel this show. This is an original concept that, for me, is the first truly unique and thoughtful sitcom to come along since HIMYM. While different in many ways, I feel some kinship to it which I think is a tremendous plus. Please keep this show in some way, whether that’s a different time, new night, or even moving it to CBS All-Access.
It was great, but it’s done, they’re gone along with all shows that have a witty content or not aiming at the twenty and thirtysomething segment..
I️ really like Me, Myself & I️Don’t understand why Superior Donuts is still on the air???
they better doing this
8:00-8:30 PM MAN WITH A PLAN
8:30-9:00 PM SUPERIOR DONUTS
9:00-9:30 PM KEVIN CAN WAIT
why? because If KCW is that good it can win at any time period. If not it should be cancelled.
