The CW has quarantined Containment for good. TVLine reports the network has cancelled the new drama after one season.
The series followed a group of people affected by a mysterious epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta. David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, and Trevor St. John starred.
The drama, which was billed as a limited series, premiered in April to weak ratings. So far, the series is averaging only .51 in the 18-49 demo with 1.5 million viewers.

This is not right. You keep Jane the Virgin and Flash for examples. You take containment off. You guys do not make since.
Cancelling this was a HUGE mistake. I thought the CW network was smarter than this. There was so much more to do!

This show was awesome ,kept me on edge and up late to keep watching the series. Cant believe Katie died I think this was really bad as Quinton lost his mum and has nobody really and Jake finally had a chance to be happy. They should have given her the virus later on where they were close to a cure as once she was dead there wasn’t as much to watch . Maybe why viewings decreased? I Zombie is horrible!!! I can’t believe it got renewed but containment got canceled. I sure hope another network picks up containment cause it was my new fav!

I watch this show every Sunday on global because I can’t wait till Tuesday to see it on the CW… so the ratings could be shared with global possibly you need to look at both to decide?
