It is a wrap for Emily in Paris! Production has completed for the sixth and final season of the Netflix series, and Lily Collins has taken a moment to say goodbye to the series and her character.
Collins shared a long message to viewers of the series on her Instagram. It began as follows:
“My last day on set as Emily…
I’m speechless. It’s impossible to find the words for what this journey has meant to me. For so many years, Emily has been a part of my life, and through every season, she’s continued to surprise me, inspire me, and challenge me.”

Emily in Paris returns with season six on December 24th. Season six will have a lot to deal with after season five’s finale. Deadline revealed the following about how season five ended:
“In the finale’s last moments, Alfie confronts Mindy, notices the ring on her finger and wishes her luck. He had previously shared his thoughts on Nico with her. Mindy looks at Emily and says, “What am I doing?” before the show ends.
Sylvie had to close the Rome branch of Agence Grateau, which is what enabled Emily to go back to Paris, and bring aboard a new financial backer, Princess Jane (Minnie Driver), for the rest of the company.
Chef Gabriel left his restaurant, which he had started with Antoine (William Abadie), and got a job cooking for a wealthy man on a yacht as it traveled the Mediterranean Sea.”
Emily in Paris returns on December 24th.
What do you think? Do you enjoy this Netflix series? Will you be sad when it ends?
