Except for the aging Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD most of the ABC summer schedule consists of game shows and reality TV series. The Alphabet Network does have a thing for summer sudsers though. This year they’ve booked the Grand Hotel TV show. Does the first season of this steamy new series have what it takes to seduce the audience back to its television sets? Will Grand Hotel be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
An ABC drama, Grand Hotel stars Demián Bichir, Roselyn Sánchez, Denyse Tontz, Bryan Craig, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Youne, Shalim Ortiz, Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno. The primetime soap centers on the Riviera Grand, the last family-owned hotel in Miami Beach, owner Santiago Mendoza (Bichir), and his family. Beneath the veneer of luxury, lurk sinful scandals, financial foibles, and deep, dark secrets.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Grand Hotel TV series on ABC? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
