What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS crime thriller, based on the James Patterson novel, Murder Games, Instinct stars Alan Cumming, Bojana Novakovic, Daniel Ings, Naveen Andrews, and Sharon Leal. The drama centers on Dr. Dylan Reinhart (Cumming), a former CIA operative who is lured out of his peaceful retirement as a university professor and author, to help NYPD detective Lizzie Needham (Novakovic) catch a serial killer. Dylan’s old CIA colleague, Julian Cousins (Andrews), lends a hand, along with Lizzie’s C.O., Lt. Jasmine Gooden (Leal). Season two kicks off with Dylan reinstated as NYPD consultant, where he can both impress and irritate Lizzie. Meanwhile, Dylan’s husband, Andy (Ings), pursues adoption as a way for the couple to finally become parents.

I am so tired of CBS canceling shows that have depth and characters who are believable. The series is interesting and beyond just a bunch of fluff. I will really miss this show!
I LOVE this show! Why do the networks think older people, over 49, don’t watch TV???? Many of my favs have been cancelled last 2 yrs. PLEASE renew or get Netflix to take it over!! Saved Lucifer that way!
An intelligent and entertaining show! Good mix of current domestic and social issues. Well cast and produced. Dylan and Lizzie made for an intriguing partnership!

Please, please, PLEASE renew Instinct. It is one of the most intelligent, riveting, sometimes funny, and always well done shows on television right now. The characters are well-rounded, likable, and work so well together. When an episode is over, I want to watch it all over again. PLEASE renew this show. My hope is networks run high-quality shows, despite lower-than-wanted ratings.
Great show with some witty humor! I think people lose interest in summer shows because of the huge gap between seasons. Hope this one gets renewed.
We love Instinct.. I look forward to it every week. I loved the James Patterson novels and this show is reviving other peoples interests in Patterson’s books. Tv is getting so boring because they are cancelling so many good shows. Gotham went away, Criminal Minds is ending soon. Instinct is a good show without a lot of bad things, language isn’t bad, no sex.. At least not being shown. Please don’t take it away

You said everything we are thinking and more. This show is great, it has drama and laughs. Did it ever dawn on CBS that ratings do go down in the summer. No wonder viewers are dropping regular TV for Netflix and Hulu. This was the only show left that we actually watch on CBS. They don’t seem to value the viewers opinions at all. So what’s to follow?? Another idiotic reality show ??
