Outlander has a new lord. This week, Starz announced David Berry has been cast in season three of the historical drama.
Based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, the series follows Claire (Caitriona Balfe), a WWII nurse who mysteriously travels to 18th century Scotland where she falls in love with Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). The cast also includes Tobias Menzies, Graham McTavish, Gary Lewis, Duncan Lacroix, and Stephen Walters.
In season three, Berry will play Lord John William Grey, “a steadfast and honorable British subject, torn between a finely-honed sense of familial duty and a strong moral compass of right and wrong.”
The new season of Outlander debuts in 2017.
