On NBC‘s satirical news series, Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update Summer Edition, Colin Jost and Michael Che tread the trail blazed by “Weekend Update” creator and anchor Chevy Chase, as well as other notable anchors including Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtin, Dennis Miller, Norm Macdonald, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers. The program is a weekly half-hour primetime presentation of SNL‘s “Weekend Update” segment. Other SNL cast members also appear on this TV series spin-off.
