Last season, many fans of Grey’s Anatomy were shocked by the exit of Doctor Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). Some were so upset that they vowed they’d never watch the series again. Grey’s Anatomy revolves around the personal and professional lives of the surgical residents, fellows, and attendings in the surgical wing of the fictional Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle, Washington. The ensemble cast includes Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Sara Ramirez, Kevin McKidd, Jessica Capshaw, Sarah Drew, Jesse Williams, Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington, Jerrika Hinton, Kelly McCreary, Jason George, and Martin Henderson.

This show has become almost unbearably boring. I realize that the show is named after Meridith, but she can’t carry the show…..she is not only annoying, but extremely unlikable. And I particularly detest the subtle little “Derek is dead; Meridith got over it, so should you” messages in the past few episodes. Yes, Derek is dead, and the big bang ya’ll heard was the sound of Shonda shooting herself in the foot when she killed Derek off. the show has unfortunately become way past boring…..i know the show is named after Meridith, but she cant carry the show….not only is she unlikable, she is annoying…and no amount of showing how “strong” she is makes it any more watchable. i particularly detest the little subtle “Derek is dead, Meridith got over it, so you should too” messages that Shonda has been putting in the episodes……yes, Derek is dead, and that big bang you heard was Shonda shooting herself in the foot when she killed off the heart of the show. i am still watching and hoping for something… Read more »
Killed off Derek.. Won’t watch again simply because it wasn’t his choice.,
I stopped watching this when it became clearly brainwashing machine about racism and homosexuality.
I have been a loyal fan from the beginning. I have not and will not watch another episode, Derek’s death was the last straw. Cancel please.
Sadly this show had lost my devotion. The storyline has gotten lost once to often. In my opinion, it is time to have the final season.

I was a big fan of grey’s but without Derek Sheppard the show is over. He was the show. I have now boycotted the show. PLEASE END IT. MAKE IT THIS IT’S LAST SEASON!!!!!!
Agreed. This show has gone on long enough, it’s time that it finally ends with a nice, respectable ending. I’m surprised people are still watching when over half of the main cast is dead or gone.

Haven’t watched since the death of Derek and won’t watch again. Can’t stand that witch who writes this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she had not right doing this to loyal fans for 11 years because she thinks she is so perfect. Everyone has a bad time and doesn’t always act the way we want them too. But grow up you witch your are not God!
It’s one thing for a actor/character to want to move on or even difference of work opinions but the way they handled his death – quick and short, no respect for being of the few main reasons we all watch it for all of these years. He gets one episode and then a speed fast forward baby and little after math of the affect of his death. Soo horribly poorly done. It sucked that he left but he should have had a better ending… McDreamy always 🙂
Didn’t finish last season after Derek’s death….haven’t watched any this season.
This show is now getting a bite Shaky. The last episode, with the new girlfriend being the killer of McDreamy and now she says it is Ok for her to work there, REALLY. They better kill her off quick. Looks to me Meredith Grey is going to end up with Dr.Alex
Need more story line with Jackson and April, since their story was the finally last year, that is disappointing that is dying out.
So far will keep watching but will have to see what they do with the new character.
I agree with you. I think they need new writers. It would be a horrible idea to put Meredith and Alex together, but I noticed that too.
And that new Dr is no where near, as gorgeous as Derek

Grey’s anatomy is not the same without Derek Shepard. I was a fan. I have never missed an episode until now. Too bad. It was a really good show at one point.
