Grey’s Anatomy fans are in for some good news. ABC just announced they’ve ordered additional episodes for the TV show’s 15th season.
The long-running medical drama stars Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Jesse Williams, and Caterina Scorsone.

The ABC Television Network has ordered three additional episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy,” bringing the 2018-2019 season to 25 episodes total. This year, the show will become the longest-running prime-time medical drama ever during the second half of season 15. The midseason return of “Grey’s Anatomy” will air THURSDAY, JAN. 17 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
In its 15 th season, “Grey’s Anatomy” averages a 3.1/13 among Adults 18-49 to rank as ABC’s No. 1 TV show of the 2018-2019 season.
“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman and Giacomo Gianniotti as Andrew DeLuca.
“Grey’s Anatomy” was created and is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes. Betsy Beers, Mark Gordon (“Saving Private Ryan”), Krista Vernoff (“Shameless”), Debbie Allen, Zoanne Clack, Fred Einesman, Andy Reaser and Meg Marinis are executive producers. “Grey’s Anatomy” is produced by ABC Studios.
“Grey’s Anatomy” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-
