Britt Robertson is coming to ABC. Deadline reports the Girlboss star has joined the network’s new TV show For the People.
From Shonda Rhimes and writer Paul William Davies, the drama “is set in the Southern District of New York Federal Court, aka “The Mother Court,” and follows brand-new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high-profile and high-stakes cases in the country – all as their personal lives intersect.”
On For the People, Robertson will play Sandra, “a sensible, fiercely intelligent and independent new public defender who was driven to the law because of an injustice perpetrated on her family when she was a child.”
ABC has not yet announced a premiere date for For the People.

Yes I will watch anything Brittney is on. She is a great actress and a under rated talent. And if her series were cancelled it’s not her fault. She did her job brilliantly.
I was disappointed that ‘Girlboss’ was canceled after one season.
I thought that the character,Sophia, played by Britt, had potential
for growth and more success in spite of her (likable) brashness.
Yes,of course I’ll watch. I was waiting for news of Britt’s newest gig.
I’m also hoping there will be a sequel to ‘The Space Between Us’.
Nope. Won’t watch it. Seems a waste of time. Specially since Britne (I appreciate this young actress very much) has been replaced. She was great in the trailer. She was even the only thing which was a little bit interesting.
ABC has way to much shonda on now. And she has a lot of misses now.
I agree wholeheartedly. Grey’s Anatomy is a shell of what it once was. They need new writers.
