What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on The CW television network, Supergirl revolves around Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist). As a girl, she survived Krypton’s destruction by being sent to Earth. As an adult, her existence becomes known to the world and she is enlisted by a super-secret agency to help protect the world from evil forces as Supergirl. The rest of the cast includes Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood, Floriana Lima, and Chris Wood. Recurring actors in season two include Calista Flockhart, Ian Gomez, Katie McGrath, Lynda Carter, Brenda Strong, and Tyler Hoechlin.

I was confident that Supergirl would get a season three renewal from The CW and it did. Maybe it will be cancelled next year. I doubt it but I’ll be watching.
